MEDIA HAS BEEN INVITED BY MAIL FROM IBU AND ORG. COMM. HOLMENKOLLEN

THE BMW IBU WORLD CUP BIATHLON HOLMENKOLLEN

Dear media representatives,

with this mail, we want to inform you that registration for the media accreditation for the third trimester of the 2023/24 season is now open at https://biathlonresults.com/membercenter/.

General rules:
The deadline for the accreditation is one week before the World Cup event. Once we have collected all applications, you will be informed if your request has been granted or declined (no later than one week before the event).

If you want to apply for the IBU event, please make sure that all documents in your profile in the IBU Membercenter are valid. Only media with updated and confirmed profiles can apply for & receive accreditation. For your profile to be approved, please upload a valid ID and a valid press card/freelance contract/letter of assignment (where applicable).

Deadlines:
WC Holmenkollen, NOR – 21 February, 2024

I-ZONES
During the season 2023/24, we will have “I-Zone” (interview zone) at all World Cups stages, while the mixed zone will remain and function as usual.

Filming at the venue
We also want to remind you that it is not allowed to film at the venue and to use the footage from the IBU events unless you have EBU/IBU permission to do so. Breach of this rule will lead to a withdrawal of your accreditation and a possible ban from future events.

Photo Service
IBU will provide a basic package of competition-related pictures as handouts for editorial purposes. The pictures will be available immediately after the flower/medal ceremonies.
