Team Pølsa 2 fills Holmenkollen with children

7,500 students from Osloskolen will get a truly unique experience when the final of Team Pølsa – Season 2 takes place in Holmenkollen on March 19, the same day the Biathlon World Cup starts. In the middle of the iconic arena, the children will cheer on and lift the Team Pølsa gang through the real Biathlon World Cup courses, an experience that is guaranteed to create memories for a lifetime.

– We look forward to, together with MOT, NRK and Øystein “Pølsa” Pettersen, promoting unity, inclusion and belonging together with 7,500 school children, says Marthe Bøhler, project manager for biathlon in Holmenkollen. Skifestival The finale marks the climax of Season 2 of Team Pølsa, which starts when the first episode airs on NRK in February.

As part of the project, MOT is developing a national, free teaching program that schools across the country can use both during and after the series airs. “The goal is to provide students with good learning activities that connect academic content, values ​​and experiences – both in the classroom and at Holmenkollen,” explains Bøhler.

The final event will feature middle school students from Oslo School. Because the final is by, with and for young people, no regular tickets will be sold on that day. “We want to prioritize the students and give them a unique arena for community and equal opportunities,” says Bøhler.

The Team Sausage final takes place just hours before the world's best biathletes take to the field for the women's sprint at the Biathlon World Cup. This way, the schoolchildren will also get to experience the very special atmosphere that is in the air when the World Cup opens in Kollen .
