Thank you for this year!

Suddenly Holmenkollen was Skifestival over this time. This year we experienced historic moments, emotional farewells and new records. Thank you to the audience, athletes, volunteers and partners who made this possible!

Historic moments and emotional farewells

This year we made history. We made history when the combined girls were allowed to jump on the large hill. This was a milestone and an important mark for gender equality in the sport.

Combined skier Jarl Manus Riiber ran his last race in Holmenkollen after a long and impressive career. A new hill record was also set when Finnish combined skier Ilkka Herola jumped 146 meters in Holmenkollbakken.

Finally, we were able to take part in the farewell of the Bø brothers. Tarjei Bø and Johannes Thingnes Bø have played a large and important role in the sport of biathlon. It was well marked with large Hollywood letters, a mini-museum and a sale at Bø- Haugen Not least, we all got to witness an emotional final race, where the brothers got to walk one last lap in the stadium wearing royal robes and crowns in front of all the nations who cheered them on with tears in their eyes.

Despite the lack of snow and mild weather, ski jumpers, cross-country skiers, combined skiers and biathletes were able to compete in sunny surroundings in Holmenkollen! The biathlete weekend also had record sales!

Thank you to the audience, performers and volunteers

This wouldn't have happened without you!

Thanks to the audience who showed up, cheered on the athletes and created the unique atmosphere that characterizes Holmenkollen. The "Kollen roar" echoed across the capital! Your commitment and support means everything to the athletes.

Thank you to the performers who, with their effort, passion and dedication, give us moments we will never forget.

Thank you to all of you invaluable volunteers who worked hour after hour, day after day! We hope you leave with fond memories, new friendships, and a sense of pride in what you have been a part of. You are the backbone of this event!
