We at Holmenkollen Skifestival offer internships in the spring of 2024. You will get both trust, responsibility and opportunities to work creatively and get close to our administration, organization and events, which will provide valuable learning and experience.

About Holmenkollen Skifestival:The Norwegian Ski Association and the Norwegian Biathlon Federation jointly own Holmenkollen Skifestival AS (hereinafter referred to as HKS), an organizing company that organizes the World Cup in Nordic sports (Skifest & RAW AIR) and the World Cup biathlon in Holmenkollen National Park. HKS is one of the best known and largest cultural/sports organizers in Norway. The events also have a high status internationally.

Project coordinator Kapellskogen

About the position:
In Kapellskogen we have a separate area where we organize activities and entertainment for families with children together with sponsors and other partners. As Project Coordinator for Family Activities, you will be involved in developing the offer, as well as ensuring the planning and implementation of the program, and will work closely with the Project Manager for Arena & Festival and the Sponsor and Marketing Manager.

 

Duties:
- Help develop concepts, activities and programs in collaboration with partners
- Collect technical and provisional needs from partners
- Plan and coordinate the rigging and dismantling of Kapellskogen
- Develop a plan for the mascot Braute in collaboration with the lavvo coordinator
- Receive and follow up on partners and suppliers in Kapellskogen
- Responsibility for the implementation of lavvo events together with the lavvo coordinator
- Manage the official family program for Kapellskogen

Responsible food logistics

About the position:During our two World Cup events, we serve around 5,000 meals to athletes, press, volunteers and other accredited people. As food logistics manager, you will work with your manager to ensure the logistics and delivery of food to all our officials and athletes.

Tasks:- Plan logistics and delivery of food in collaboration with the head of food logistics- Management and follow-up of volunteers- Receive deliveries of goods, and keep order in the warehouse- Coordinate food logistics together with the head of food logistics- Packing of lunch bags, and coordinate their distribution- Have a dialogue with the catering supplier for hot food deliveries during the event weeks- Get to know the arena and the organization- After the event: Maintain inventory, prepare goods for return, clean out food containers, etc.
