Holmenkollen Skifestival is an annual winter sports event held in Holmenkollen in Oslo. The festival has deep roots in Norwegian skiing history and is known to be one of the largest and most prestigious winter events in the world. Holmenkollen Skifestival organizes World Cup competitions in Nordic sports (cross-country skiing, Nordic Combined and Ski jumping/RAW AIR) and World Cup Biathlon. The events attract both the world's elite skiers and thousands of enthusiastic spectators.

Volunteers are the heart of Holmenkollen Skifestival. Every year, around 2,000 volunteers come together to ensure the successful execution of the events through their passion and efforts. As a volunteer during the World Cups in Holmenkollen, you are part of a super-team that creates unforgettable experiences for themselves, the athletes and the audience.

Holmenkollen Skifestival is a place where everyone should feel a sense of inclusion, community and mastery, and we encourage everyone to apply! The events consist of many different sections with a wide range of tasks.

Here you will be able to find a task that you can master regardless of your background and previous experience!

The event dates for winter 2025 are:

Nordic World Cup and RAW AIR March 13 - 16

Biathlon World Cup March 21-23

Here are some of the departments where you can volunteer:

Track marshals: biathlon and/or cross-country skiing.

Entrance control / accreditation control inside and outside the stadium at fixed posts, rolling on days.

The athletes' café: Cross-country skiing and biathlon ("IBU Family Club") with simple catering for athletes, lubrication teams and ski/equipment suppliers.

National stalls - here you help to facilitate the national teams' lubrication teams and ski/equipment suppliers to do their job in the best possible way.

Assistants in the children's activity areas help children enjoy fun activities (skiing, face painting, etc.) during the event and contribute to families having a great experience in the facility.

The food logistics team ensures that all volunteers and accredited staff in the facility get food and drink delivered to the right place at the right time.
