An arena full of activity!

The second weekend in March sees the World Cup in Holmenkollen, where you can get the chance to see great sporting achievements and moments from both women and men in cross-country skiing, combined and ski jumping. In cross-country skiing, the women will compete in their second five-mile race in history on Saturday, and the men's five-mile race on Sunday. The jumping week is also underway this period and RAW AIR offers airy experiences to the extreme when both women and men go down Holmenkollbakken itself.
Along with all the excitement on the slopes, there is also a lot of fun going on around the facility, including in the festival streets and in Kollenkaféen. Here you will find a wide range of food and drink, snacks, entertainment and good humor, which should suit most people.

- Are you an adult who wants to take the youngest children, and maybe grandma, to Kapellskogen for the 50km race?
- Are you in your 20s and want to enjoy the RAW AIR atmosphere in the jumping bowl on Saturday?
- Or maybe you've been to "Kollen" many times and have your regular seat in the Main Grandstand?

- In a wheelchair, but want a good view of the 50km race?

See which area is right for you!

March 7-10

In the "Kollen" arena, you as a guest have several areas that suit you and/or your entourage.
In addition to fantastic performances, the Kollen roar, bells and flags - you will find many different offers and activities in the arena.
Food and beverage outlets are scattered around, easily accessible wherever you have tickets.
Want your taste buds to dance? The various food carts sell a wide range of food - Indian, Mexican and Asian. Our food outlets also offer hot dogs, burgers, packed lunches and other goodies - and of course a wide range of drinks for adults and children.

Kollen café

If you want to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate, relax on a bench or buy yourself dinner - you can head to Kollenkaféen, located between the ski jump and the main entrance. This opens at the same time as the arena and has free entrance. Kollenkaféen closes at 17:00, except on Saturdays.

Want to go après-ski in "Kollen"?

On Saturday night, Kollenkaféen will be transformed into Kollens afterski. The good atmosphere continues with a DJ and good vibes where adults over 18 can rock out and have fun, or just warm up and mingle with good music until 23:00.

Festival Streets North and South

We have two festival streets during the event - North and South, see the arena maps.
Partners create competitions and other entertainment you can enjoy on your way to the stands and audience areas. The "photo spot" in front of the ski jump was a favorite spot for many this winter, and fresh photos were taken, bringing back good memories long after the event is over.
In the festival streets you will find the exciting food carts with a varied food and drink offer.
In the shop of our clothing partner, TwentyFour, you can buy the "Kollen" collection and find other great offers.
Nearby you will also find the Skifestival shop with, for example, "Kollen" bells, the mini version of our mascot Braute, flags and this year's "Kollen" hat.

At all outlets you can pay by bank card and Vipps.

We also have "itinerant sales boards" with goodies that go in the stands at the stadium and in the jumping arena.
We recommend that you download the Skifestival app. You'll get great offers and important information throughout the festival period. More info here.

The stands

MAIN TRIBUNES

Here you can get close to the drama - and on the run-up you can see the last part of the match.
The main stand has capacity for over 4000 guests. The seats give you an excellent overview of the entire cross-country stadium. The athletes can also be followed on the big screen and you are in the middle of the world-famous "Kollen" atmosphere. Music and announcers play up to the Kollen roar and competitions.

SKI JUMPING TRIBUNE (A + B-H)

You can’t really miss it. The famous Holmenkollen Ski Jumping Hill has plenty of spaces for ski jumping enthusiasts. There are two areas in the stands. The premium spot is Section A, where you will have a great view of Oslo and it will feel like the athletes are jumping over your head. Section B-H is not as close, but will give you a great view of the Ski Jump. Section B-H is free seating.

Kapellskogen and Haugen

HAUGEN

Here you get the overview right from the start! A perfect combination of forest surroundings combined with great views of the stadium, Holmenkollbakken and close to the athletes. Here you'll also find a Gilde outlet and kiosk, and you can follow the competitions on the big screen.
Somewhat rough to get to Haugen, with entrance from the north/east. Follow the signs.

KAPELLSKOGEN

As at Haugen, Kapellskogen provides the perfect combination of forest surroundings and a great arena feel. In Kapellskogen, we cater for families with children and offer activities such as face painting, a nature trail and a quiz, together with our mascot, Braute. While the little ones play, you adults can follow the drama unfolding in the arena. Kapellskogen is also suitable for groups of friends and couples who want a good view of the stadium and like to follow different parts of the ski trails under Holmenkollen Kapell.
Kapellskogen is not suitable for strollers as it is up a staircase and into a forest with rough terrain. Carrying mice and children on your shoulders definitely works best to get to a playful arena!
