Are you serviceminded and positive? Do you have a ‘can do’ attitude, and are you happy to take on responsibility? Then working at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon might be just the job for you! We are looking for people with the following personal qualities:
We need people to provide participants, spectators and other volunteers with an excellent experience during the sports festival. You can be sure of racking up unique experience and memorable days – as well as the knowledge that you played a key role in the sports festival in Holmenkollen.
The organisation comprises a great many sections, with appreciable variation in their tasks and assignments. We therefore need volunteers with different skills and experience. Interest in volunteering for biathlon events has been high in recent years, so we recommend that you send in your application early if you want to be a part of the upcoming festival of sport.
The World Cup event last for three days. Some of the sections have assignments to perform before and after the event itself. We expect that all volunteers set aside at least three days to work at the event. If you would like to commit to more than this, you are more than welcome to do so. You can register the days you wish to work when applying for a volunteer position. The earlier you submit your application, the greater the chance of your being able to work on your preferred dates.
Please be aware that all communication during the event will be in Norwegian, so basic Norwegian language skills are necessary to be able to work as a volunteer.
- A memorable experience
- Exlusive volunteering attire from Twentyfour
- A range of social events
- A variety of discounted products from our partners
We look forward to receiving applications from everyone with experience/training in sport, travel, the service sector, healthcare, transport, warehousing, etc. as we need volunteers from a range of backgrounds.
We look forward to welcoming you to the World Cup team.
