The Media Center is a permanent part of the arena building, and accommodates one large press conference room, combined with work stations for written press, photographers, ENG stations and radio. The Media Center offers free WiFi to all media, lan cabling for photo work stations and optional lan cabling for journalist work stations. The information desk will provided printed information and start/result lists for the media.

Everyone working for the IBU World Cup Biathlon in Holmenkollen, need to apply for accreditation. Deadline for submitting your application is March 2021.

It is the International Biathlon Union (IBU) and their accreditation partner, PLARAS BIATHLON, who are responsible for the accreditation process for media. After you have applied, you will receive a confirmation once its approved.

You will need your accrediation to access the media center and the rest of the Holmenkollen arena.
The accreditation can be picked up at the accreditation center at Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel, Kongeveien 5.

The accreditation office will be open from Tuesday 17th of March until Sunday 22th.

Arrival / departure – Oslo Airport Gardermoen OSL

Travelling with the Airport Express Train (Flytoget) takes about 20 minutes from the Airport to the Oslo Central Station (located next to the media hotel). The Airport Express Train departs every 10 minutes between 06:15 and 22:35 (Monday-Friday). Outside these times, the train departs every 20 or 30 minutes starting at 04:45 and ending at 00:05. Local Public Transport in Oslo
The media hotel is located very close to the subway with direct connection to Holmenkollen arena. Timetable and route information for public transport in Oslo can be found at Ruter.

Subway line 1 “Frognerseteren” will take you to Holmenkollen from all downtown stations, including the station “Jernbanetorget” located next to the media hotel. The media center is located a 10 minute walk from Holmenkollen station.

Media transport to Holmenkollen
The LOC offers free shuttle transportation to and from the media hotel to the venue in Holmenkollen. The transportation time to Holmenkollen is approximately 25 minutes. Information regarding shuttle bus schedules will be available at the media hotel, in the Media Center, and on this website closer to the event.

Parking in Holmenkollen
Media personnel are encouraged to use public transportation or the shuttle buses provided. The parking capacity is very limited during the event, as most parking spaces available are used for temporary installations.
